Tragedy struck late last night when a sudden and catastrophic flash flood tore through a children’s summer camp in the western hills of Texas. Within minutes, the rising waters engulfed cabins, tents, and trails, leaving dozens of campers and staff missing in the chaos.
As emergency responders scrambled to reach the scene, one moment of unimaginable courage emerged — not from a human, but from a dog.
🐶 A Nameless Dog, A Timeless Hero
According to survivors, the floodwaters rose so fast that many children were swept away before they could even scream for help. Amid the screams and confusion, 9-year-old Lyla was seen being dragged downstream by the current, crying out for her parents.
